The scouts attended Camp Independence at the Heritage Reservation in Farmington, PA for summer camp. It was a mix of summer camp veterans and first-time summer campers. It was an amazing and full weekend of activities! Scouts enjoyed boating, fishing, swimming, bb-gun shooting, archery, nature, and Camp Independence’s world class slushies!

Rank Advancement Ceremony
This is the night when the Cub Scouts are recognized for their efforts throughout the year and they can enjoy that feeling of accomplishment. This night is when they advance to their next rank.
Webelos Hike
The Webelos took an evening hike in a nearby park. They prepared for this hike in advance considering safety, location, weather, and ensured that they were prepared with fist aid kits, whistles, water and food. They logged over 3 miles and learned map and compass skills along the way.
Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremony
Four amazing scouts received their Arrow of Light Awards at this evening’s meeting and Blue & Gold dinner. We are proud of them and their accomplishments in Cub Scouts. We are happy to announce that all four of them crossed over to Scout BSA!
Pinewood Derby
Race fans were welcome with intense and fast derby racing! Dens competed with themselves for a chance to race in the Pack Championship later in the day. Nearly every scout raced and every scout there made amazing memories.
Pack Family Bowling at Family Bowlaway
The scouts and their families traded in their winter boots for a night with bowling shoes. We had a great turn out with families from all dens attending. Pizza and sodas capped off the evening of fun and bowling A great Pack 403 January tradition.
Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremony
Completing their Cub Scout journey, these scouts earned their Arrow of Light Awards and crossed over to Scouts BSA.
Arrow of Light Den Winter Hike
The oldest boys in the pack got together for a chilly but fun winter adventure and explored the trails of Moraine State Park.
Halloween Pack Meeting
Thanks to a great community park we were able to hold our annual Halloween pack meeting complete with costumes!
Socially Distant Family Campout
Making the best of things, we could still meet outside as long as we distanced. The entire pack fished and launched rockets on this fall family campout.
