Cub Scout Pack 403
November’s pack meeting was full of fun and games for the scouts. The Bear and Webelos dens set up several stations with various games and activities that the younger scouts got to participate in. December’s pack meeting will be on the 15th, and we may get a special visit then!
This month’s pack meeting featured a little extra fun for the scouts. Scouts came dressed in their Halloween costumes, rotated through different stations where they played various games, and got trick-or-treat candy. There were some pretty neat costumes, and siblings were invited to dress up as well. Our next scout meeting is set for November 7th!
This past weekend, Pack 403 attended the council’s fall family camp at Camp Agawam. For family camps, the entire family is invited to camp with the scouts. Activities at camp included rocket launches, jamboree on the air, pumpkin carving, pumpkin chunkin, moon walking, gaga ball, human foosball, and astronaut balance walk.
Welcome to the new Pack 403 website. We are starting off the new scouting year with our first pack meeting September 22nd, at 7 pm.
Those who are interested in getting their sons involved in Scouting, we encourage you to attend a Pack meeting and to talk to the leaders and parents. Since the bulk of the pack meetings are geared towards communicating activities and other items to parents, there will be only a snippet of the “fun stuff” your son will be involved with. We also encourage you to bring your sons to a den meeting, as this consists of a smaller group of same-age boys and is where the boys participate in hands-on activities.
